Macy Gray Heads South
Macy Gray is back after a few years out of the limelight. The eccentric singer is set to tour Australia and New Zealand, starting July 31.
Just ahead of Gray’s Australian trek, she’ll perform for the seventh annual Justice Ball, held at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. The July 12 show is open to the public, with tickets available at thejusticeball.org. Also on the itinerary is a performance July 25 at Japan’s Fuji Rocks Festival.
The Aussie outing marks the second time Gray has toured the country and her second tour this year. After a two-year absence from the stage, Gray returned this spring with a monthlong venture, which saw Lamya supporting.
Incidentally, her album, The Trouble With Being Myself, is out internationally, although American audiences will have to wait until July 15 to purchase it. The disc was originally slated for a May release.
