Say U.N.K.L.E.
Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, Jarvis Cocker, Brian Eno, and Massive Attack’s Robert “3D” Del Naja are among the high-profile celebrities making appearances on the album. The Stone Roses’ Ian Brown and Mani also reunite for a track.
U.N.K.L.E. is supporting the album with a world tour, currently scheduled to run through July 27. Details are sketchy on which, if any, of the album’s guest artists will be performing live, though Brown, Mani and Cocker appeared with Lavelle at the March 20 Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament Wrong War concert in London.
Unfortunately for American fans, no U.S. dates are currently on the itinerary. However, you might be able to catch U.N.K.L.E. on the tube: A track by the band will be appearing in a Levi’s commercial set for U.S. rotation.
