Both shows take place in California and are historically significant for the band. One is their first ever concert at Dodger Stadium (in Los Angeles) and the other is their first concert in the city of San Francisco since a 1978 show at the Winterland club. They’ll take place August 16 (S.F.) and 17 (L.A.).

Although only two shows have been announced, there is a little room to squeeze a few more in between Los Angeles and the band’s three-night run in East Rutherford, N.J., should they choose to do so.

Tickets go on sale July 28 through Ticketmaster.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are currently in the middle of a 10-show record run at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
