The outing finds Presley hitting many House of Blues venues all over the States, starting September 13 in Las Vegas and wrapping October 6 in New Orleans. A couple of state fair shows and a stop by a casino are thrown in the mix for good measure.

Presley’s debut, To Whom It May Concern, which was released earlier this year, has been a surprise hit. It’s been certified gold and has earned Presley some praise from even the toughest of critics.

Of the decision to make an album, Presley is adamant that it’s not about her family lineage, but rather because it’s her calling.

“I didn’t want to do anything just based on who I am,” Presley said. “I mean, I was asked to do a bloody movie with Vanilla Ice! The stuff I’ve been offered in my life is insane and I didn’t do any of it because I didn’t care.

“I was doing this because my heart’s in this. This is what I’m good at doing. I’m good at putting myself in a song. That’s it.”
