“We like playing these kind of shows because there is no separation between the band and the fans,” guitarist Carl Bell said. “It’s up close and personal, and it’s exciting for us too because it gives us an opportunity to take our songs in different directions.”

Supporting their third album, Natural Selection, Fuel will visit Best Buys on the East Coast September 23-27. Fans who attend the free gigs will be treated to a five-song, stripped-down set of new songs from the album.

And they’ll be more than just playing a couple of quick tunes and jetting out the back entrance. Fuel will stick around to sign autographs and greet fans at the performance locations, including one in San Francisco where they aren’t scheduled to play.

The five Best Buy shows aren’t the only ones in Fuel’s tank. Following those, they hop on the Road To Voodoo Tour, which winds its way around clubs through the end of October.
