The irreverent pop-punks are back with a tour to show off a shiny new CD. Blink, along with Bubba Sparxxx and The Kinison, are returning to the club scene for a brief outing next month.

Only 10 shows are booked, starting November 6 in Boston and wrapping on the 21st in San Diego. Los Angeles snags the boys for two nights in a row at the Avalon.

“For years, we played in small clubs and that’s where you can really connect with your fans,” singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge said. “We’re super-stoked that we’re at the point in our career that we can bring a tour like this around for only a dollar.”

Did we mention the tickets are only $1? They go on sale through mtv.com October 23, with additional tickets hitting outlets a few days later. Locations will be announced on mtv.com.

On November 18, blink-182 will release their fifth full-length album, which promises to show off a different side of the band.

“Having over nine months to record this CD gave us a chance to explore avenues that we never had before,” singer/bassist Mark Hoppus said. “We weren’t rushed, so the ideas on this record are fully fleshed out and go in directions that sometimes even surprise us.”

The album is still unnamed.
