Twain, who is currently laying low until the end of November when she begins a few weeks’ worth of gigs in the Midwest and Canada, will head across the Atlantic starting January 20.

Shows are on the books for Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and the U.K., where she’ll play a two-night stand at London’s Wembley Arena.

It’s been all arenas for Twain, who hasn’t toured since 1999. And fans are responding to her return; most of the shows on this tour have been sold out.

Members of the Shania Twain Fan Club get first dibs on tickets. Check her Web site at shaniatwain.com for more information on how to join and purchase the tickets in advance of the public onsales.

“I have a lot of fun with the touring. It’s the big reward,” Twain said. “I can see on [the audience’s] faces what the songs mean to them. I’m affected by music; when I sit and listen, I’m high by it. So when I see I’m affecting them the same way, I really feel I’ve done what I came to do.”
