This fall the artists will reunite under the You And I Tour. The outing launches October 30 in Washington, D.C., and will hit a total of 12 cities across the States through December.

Additional dates are expected to be added in January.

Although it’s been awhile since the two soulful legends teamed up, they’ve certainly not been completely out of the music scene; each has toured as recently as 2002.

James released Anthology in 2002 and is rumored to have a new album on the back burner for release sometime this year. It looks like Teena Marie’s most recent offering was 1994’s Passion Play on her own Sarat Records label.
