Enter Mariah Carey. The pop superstar is pulling off what The Stones can’t seem to do – she’s playing China. And not just a show, either. Carey has booked two nights at Shanghai’s Hong Kou Stadium in mid-November.

The dates are sandwiched between her European tour, which has a few shows left on the schedule, and another round of U.S. gigs. Carey is also playing Manila after Shanghai.

This is Carey’s second pass at select West Coast theatres on her Charmbracelet world tour. She was most recently in the States at the end of summer.

As a bonus to fans, she’s letting them choose, in part, her set list. On her official Web site, fans can pick one song – “One Sweet Day,” “Love Takes Time,” “Visions Of Love” or “Can’t Take That Away” – and she’ll play the tune with the most votes for that city.
