At press time, a scant five shows are in the books, starting December 27 in Michigan and running through the start of the year. But both bands have an open itinerary for 2004, so it’s very possible more dates will be added.

If you’ve been reading the news, you might be inclined to think that Marilyn Manson is spending all his time in court. Not so! The man and the band have been super busy touring the world behind their latest album, The Golden Age Of Grotesque.

So too, with Jane’s Addiction. They’re currently wrapping a European tour and have a couple of holiday shows Stateside before joining Marilyn Manson.

Jane’s Addiction has also been capitalizing on the new “flash mob” phenomenon. Following their Halloween show in London, they sent a text message to fans who had signed up, with information on a post-concert meeting. Perry Farrell showed up wearing a jester hat and led the crowd in a sing-along of Jane’s hits.
