Me And Mr. Jones
Tom Jones is setting his sights on Canada for a spring romp. The crooner, who is currently wrapping up a U.S. tour on the West Coast, will start off his outing with a three-night stand at Atlantic City March 5-7, and then heads north of the border where he’ll hang out through the end of the month.
Four shows in the Pacific Northwest wrap up the tour in April.
Jones has just released his Reloaded: Greatest Hits compilation album. The disc finds the legendary singer paired alongside some more rockin’ artists, including the Cardigans, Stereophonics, Portishead, Wyclef Jean, Art Of Noise, and Van Morrison. It also contains a couple of remixes.
Although he’s never faded from the spotlight, Jones’ music has enjoyed a resurgence these past few years, and it’s coming from an unlikely younger crowd.
The famously sultry artist is suddenly hip with the kids. Of course, having musicians like Jean, Stereophonics and Portishead guesting on his new albums only helps beef up his cool factor.
