Ska Is Dead … And You’re Next
If ska is, in fact, deceased, it seems to be rising from its coffin to terrorize the countryside. Does this mean Mustard Plug, Big D And The Kids Table, Planet Smashers, and Catch 22 are a pack of zombies? Only one place to find out: the “Ska Is Dead … And You’re Next” tour.
The road show starts off February 17 in Buffalo, N.Y. Catch 22 won’t jump on board until the next day’s show at New York’s Knitting Factory. From there, the four bands will make their way down the East Coast, all the way south to Florida.
The current itinerary runs through February 29, but don’t think that’s the end of it. The tour is scheduled to rise again with a second leg in April. According to the official site, www.skaisdead.com, dates should stretch through the northern U.S. and Canada with a possible London show as well.
