The tour kicks off at Cleveland’s Grog Shop February 18 and continues around the eastern United States through March 3. She’ll wrap at the Axis in Boston March 3.

The young singer’s energetic pop-rock has earned comparisons to fellow Ontarian Avril Lavigne, but Dobson says such chatter doesn’t bother her.

“It doesn’t bug me, because it’s very natural to be compared. I mean apples and oranges get compared because they’re both juicy. It’s okay to be compared. It’s nothing to be upset about,” she told the Toronto Sun.
