Sounds Of Sweden
We won’t call it an invasion, but Sweden’s The Sounds have gained entry to the U.S. Their first North American headlining tour, featuring support from Kill Hannah and Ima Robot, kicks off February 15 in Milwaukee.
They’ll make appearances at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club and Austin’s South by Southwest convention on the jaunt, which mostly steers clear of western regions. The current itinerary runs through March 28.
Last year, The Sounds released their debut album, Living In America, and made the late-night talk show rounds in addition to opening for the Raveonettes and Rooney.
Chicago glam-grunge outfit Kill Hannah is promoting its second release, For Never & Ever, and Los Angeles’ Ima Robot released its debut album last fall.
