Three Of A Kind For Phish
Phish has lined up a stellar hand for Las Vegas. They’ll jam out at the Thomas and Mack Arena three nights in a row, from April 15-17. The band’s September 2000 performance at the same venue resulted in the popular “Live In Vegas” DVD.
As usual, tickets are available several weeks early through Phish’s own ticketing system at phishtickets.rlc.net.
The band recently announced that they’ll be heading into the studio with producer Tchad Blake (Pearl Jam, Tom Waits) to record their new album. They’re aiming for a mid-June release date.
Frontman Trey Anastasio has a new solo disc coming out in April. The seven-track album features some radical reworkings of familiar instrumentals as well as a couple newer compositions. He enlisted an eclectic array of musicians to help out on the tracks, including the 66-piece Seattlemusic orchestra.
