They’ll be getting fans pumped for their brand new album, Whatever Happened To P.J. Soles? The band has posted a tracklisting for the disc, due out April 6, on their official Web site. Their last release was the No Fun EP, which dropped last May on Thick Records.

Local H was a largely unheard-of indie band until their sophomore album, As Good As Dead (1996), came along and spewed forth a huge hit. “Bound For The Floor” (a.k.a. the “copacetic song”) propelled the band out of the shadows.

From there, Local H landed the support slot on a tour with Stone Temple Pilots and have been on the road since.

Even with only two players, there are no holes in the Local H sound because Lucas’ guitar is rigged to play the bass lines as well. While he was searching for a new drummer (original member Joe Daniels split in 1998), Lucas’ mom suggested he set up his guitar to play the drums as well, but that somehow didn’t work out.
