The bands will split up for separate shows March 18 at South by Southwest in Austin.

Cooper Temple Clause has been igniting passions on both sides of the Atlantic with their eclectic brand of hard rock, which includes strands of pop, jazz, metal, electronica and more. Their debut U.S. release, Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose, came out February 24 on RCA.

Brooklynites by way of Texas, Calla – Aurelio Valle (vocals/guitar), Wayne Magruder (drums/programming/percussion) and Sean Donovan (keyboard/bass/programming) – dropped their third full-length, Televise, in January 2003. The album followed their 2002 split EP with The Walkmen.

Calla’s self-titled debut, originally issued by Brussels indie Sub Rosa, was recently re-released with three bonus tracks by Arena Rock Recording. Hardcore fans should also keep their eyes on eBay for copies of the two Miscellaneous EPs, released last year in numbered editions of 200.
