Season Of Sevendust
Fresh off a successful winter tour, Sevendust has announced new plans for spring. After a late-March stint downunder, they’ll embark on a North American jaunt with Florida alt-metal outfit Cold, scheduled to stretch into mid-May. Apartment 26 and Atomship are also slated to appear.
Atlanta quintet Sevendust got their start in 1995 under the moniker Crawlspace. After an appearance on the “Mortal Kombat: More Kombat” soundtrack, they changed their name and released their self-titled debut on TVT in 1997. That record went gold, as did their subsequent two releases.
They’re currently supporting their fourth album, Seasons, which was released last October. The record was produced by Butch Walker (Marvelous 3, SR-71) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner, whose recent work includes albums by Evanescence, Coal Chamber, and Ill Nino.
