Los Lonely Boys
The family that plays together stays together. Texas trio Los Lonely Boys, composed of brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza, have been gigging steadily since the release of their first album last summer. Their mix of rootsy rock‘n’roll with funky Latin grooves and Tex-Mex flavorings has earned them the enthusiastic support of fellow Texan Willie Nelson, among others.
The latest batch of dates looks to carry them through the summer. March and April have the band gigging mostly around their home state of Texas, but by May they’ll be playing up and down both coasts with plenty in between. Headlining dates as well as appearances at South by Southwest, Bonnaroo and more will keep the band on the road into mid-August.
Several dates in May are with Nelson, who invited the band to his Austin studio last year to record their debut album. The self-titled effort was released in August, six months after their EP Real Emotions.
