Madonna Tour Confirmed
It’s official: International pop superstar Madonna is going out on tour this spring and summer for the first time in three years, beginning May 24 in Los Angeles at The Forum. The tour will hit major markets in the U.S. through early August before heading overseas. Dates are confirmed for London and Paris, with proposed shows in Israel and Ireland.
“Madonna has already started rehearsals for ‘The re-Invention Tour’ and she can’t wait to get back on stage to recreate her songs from the earliest days of her career up until the present,” manager Caresse Henry said. “And as a special treat to her fans, existing Icon fan club members will have access to tickets prior to the on-sale dates in local markets.”
The Material Girl last toured in 2001, when she grossed more than $74 million with a summer of sold-out shows in North America and Europe.
Her last album, American Life, was released in April 2003.
