New Deal For Seal
Multi-Grammy winner Seal is bringing his soulful sounds to Stateside audiences once again. The singer plans to tour clubs and theatres in Western North America this spring, beginning April 16-17 with two nights at the Harrah’s Hotel Casino in Tahoe. The tour will travel down California and across the Southwest before he bids farewell May 7 in Gulfport, Miss.
The British crooner’s last album, Seal IV, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard charts when it dropped last fall, and has already surpassed the double platinum mark. A deluxe DVD-Audio version of the disc comes out April 20. Longtime collaborator Trevor Horn once again lent his production skills to the effort.
Seal is currently touring Europe through the end of March. After the North American jaunt, he’ll return to his native continent for a round of German shows in July. Last fall’s U.S. outing was his first since 1999, when he toured in support of his third album, Human Being.
