New Wonder
Vancouver, British Columbia’s A.C. Newman has built a solid reputation as a pivotal member of Zumpano and the New Pornographers. This July, the artist formerly known as Carl Newman is striking out on his own in support of his solo debut, The Slow Wonder.
The album, released June 8 on Matador, is touted as a more personal affair than his previous work and “full of space and surprise.”
The tour kicks off July 6 at Neumo’s in Seattle. He’ll head down the West Coast before doing a series of shows in his native Canada. By August, he’ll be hitting spots all over North America before wrapping on the 21st in Denver.
All shows will feature a full band.
