The album, released June 8 on Matador, is touted as a more personal affair than his previous work and “full of space and surprise.”

The tour kicks off July 6 at Neumo’s in Seattle. He’ll head down the West Coast before doing a series of shows in his native Canada. By August, he’ll be hitting spots all over North America before wrapping on the 21st in Denver.

All shows will feature a full band.
