Madonna To Play Ireland
Irish fans of Madonna will get a long-awaited treat this summer. The international pop superstar will play her first Ireland show ever this summer, when her Re-Invention tour spreads to Europe.
The North American leg of the outing is currently in full swing, with the singer set to tour Stateside arenas through early August.
After two weeks of U.K. shows, she’ll appear in Meath, Ireland, at Slane Castle August 29. Tickets for the gig are now on sale.
The European itinerary stretches into mid-September, with additional shows in France, the Netherlands and Portugal.
The Material Girl last toured in 2001, when she grossed more than $74 million with a summer of sold-out shows in North America and Europe.
Her last album, American Life, was released in April 2003.
