The two-month summer venture is set to begin July 19 in New Orleans where Boston punk quintet the Explosion join the tour for the duration.

From there, the two bands will hit cities throughout the western half of nation, and then head east to finish up in Atlanta August 31. To appease Canadian fans, the bands will visit Vancouver and Toronto in August.

In the past, the Brides have hit the road hard with high profile rockers Audioslave, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, and Queens of the Stone Age.

Their new album, which follows their 2001 release, Fall of the Plastic Empire, should satiate fans who crave a little napalm with tracks like “Dance with the Devil,” and “Alternative Teenage Suicide.”

The Brides last U.S. trek was in spring when they opened for A Perfect Circle.
