The trio – including Leo on guitar/vocals; Dave Lerner on bass; and drummer Chris Wilson – are currently touring through the west and will slowly make their way across the country with dates into December.

For more than 10 years now, 34-year-old Leo has earned his stripes as one of the driving forces in independent punk rock music. In the late ‘80’s, he played in New York hardcore bands Citizen’s Arrest and Animal Crackers before leaving for Washington, D.C., in 1990 to found and front mod/punk band Chisel.

After the band’s eventual breakup in 1997, the politically charged singer joined up with his brother Danny Leo to form punk-fused outfit the Sin Eaters. In ‘98 the band disbanded and Leo branched off into a solo career.

Since then, he’s embarked on numerous tours and released five records, three of which are on Bay Area record label, Lookout!

The band will hit most major U.S. cities, along with two stops in Canada (Toronto and Montreal) before heading east to play two back-to-back shows in Cambridge, Mass., at the Middle East Club on December 8 and 9.

From there, the threesome is scheduled for a show in Philadelphia on December 10 and at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom the following day.

Along for the ride are The Natural History and The Tossers (mid November), and Matt Pond PA and Vague Angels on various dates in December.
