No Suppressing This Yanni
Yanni, the Greek god of New Age showmanship, has added a couple of months’ worth of dates to a tour he began last year in support of his 2003 release Ethnicity.
The latest leg kicked off November 6 with a show at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas that was filmed for what will be his fifth televised special, expected to air in 2005, most likely on PBS.
The latest dates take Yanni well into the new year after a holiday break from the road. He’ll kick off 2005 on January 19th in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he’ll warm up for a two-night stand beginning the next day at Radio City Music Hall in NYC.
Yanni’s itinerary has in stops in major and secondary markets including Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Pittsburgh, St; Paul, Minn.; Cleveland, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wis., Auburn Hills, Mich.; Norfolk, Va.; and Sunrise, Fla.
