Starting December 1, vocalists/guitarists Jim Adkins and Tom Linton, drummer Zach Lind, and bassist Mitch Porter will head to Detroit to play the Cobo Arena. Joining them for that gig will be Good Charlotte, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, and Franz Ferdinand.

The foursome is scheduled to play several radio-sponsored holiday fests including the Y 100 Feastival in Camden, N.J., December 2; the K-Rock Claus Fest at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, N.J.; the WHFS Nutcracker in Fairfax, Va.; the 99X Mistletoe Jam Duluth, Ga.’s Arena @ Gwinnett Center; and finally at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas December 11 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.

Aside from that, Jimmy Eat World will continue to tour various spots in North America including Vancouver, Oregon, Arizona, and California from December 7-12.

In early January the quartet will do a run of dates with Elefant and Reubens Accomplice from 7-15. Those gigs are scheduled to visit Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
