The singer will perform five nights a week for 24 weeks through 2005 and 2006. The 90-minute “Manilow: Music and Passion” show is scheduled to kick off February 25th.

“I’ve spent the last three months telling audiences that since I wouldn’t be touring again, the only way to see me is if you come to my home. Well, I’ve got a new home … The Las Vegas Hilton,” Manilow said in a statement.

“Las Vegas is now the home to a large number of talented performers and I feel lucky to be joining the group.”

The crooner added that the shows will include singers, dancers, a large band and new songs.

“It won’t be static,” he said. “It will change every night.”

His theatre will reportedly hold about 1,700 people after renovations.

Details regarding Manilow’s contract were not revealed, but the singer did say that he intends to write a Las Vegas theme song similar to “New York, New York.”

Manilow recently completed his One Night Live! One Last Time! trek, a 22-city U.S. arena jaunt billed as his final tour.
