Satriani Postpones Dates – Doctor’s Orders
Following two nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco (December 26-27), guitarist Joe Satriani has postponed the remainder of his U.S. dates for December and January due to pneumonia, his publicist told Pollstar.
Satriani’s doctor has ordered him to sit out five gigs, which were scheduled between December 28 and January 1. Those dates included stops in Nevada, Arizona and three in California. Fans shouldn’t fret, however: The accomplished guitarist is expected to reschedule the dates for early 2005.
Meanwhile, Satriani has dates scheduled in Australia and New Zealand for March. His latest album, Is There Love in Space?, was released in April 2004.
