Disney Hall To Be Dimmed

The “dulling” of the Walt Disney Concert Hall has officially been given the green light.

The new home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic has bothered neighbors who say its shiny exterior reflects the sun too well and is blinding them or heating up their offices and apartments.

County supervisors approved a $90,000 facelift March 1st to dull a 4,200-square-foot section of the facility. The center will pay for the work.
