Following their March 11 appearance in Tulsa, Okla., with former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, the Swedes will head to Texas to join hundreds of fellow rock acts at South by Southwest, where they’ll do a St. Paddy’s Day performance at the Austin Music Hall.

Their U.S. tour kicks off in earnest March 21 at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club. They’ll traverse the U.S. for a couple weeks before wrapping in Vancouver, B.C., April 6. Then it’s back to Europe, where their current schedule has them playing Greece, Sweden and Norway into early May.

American Minor will open on most U.S. dates except March 25, when The Black Crowes will join the Soundtrackers at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom.

In addition to the new album, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives also has two songs featured on the new Playstation 2 game “Gran Turismo 4,” according to tsool.net, the band’s official Web site and “Home for the Fanclub Mega Society.”
