Charlie Hewitt Dies

Charlie Hewitt, co-manager of King Crimson and president of Buzz International Group, died March 4th, reportedly of an aneurysm.

King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew‘s official Web site stated that Hewitt had been working on an upcoming solo tour for Belew at the time of his death.

“It is such a shock,” Belew said. “He was young and vibrant, in great health, a runner. Just a week ago, I called on his birthday. He said he was receiving calls from friends and family from all over the world. He was a lovely person.”

Hewitt also worked with KMFDM, Bauhaus and Love and Rockets.
