Joel Postpones Concerts

Billy Joel has postponed two concerts this month to undergo treatment of alcohol abuse.

Spokeswoman Claire Mercuri said the singer/songwriter entered an undisclosed clinic after suffering severe gastrointestinal distress.

Concerts put on hold are a March 26th performance at The Joint in Las Vegas and March 31st at America West Arena in Phoenix. No word yet on when those shows will be rescheduled.

Joel was previously treated for alcohol abuse in 2002.
