Appropriately, the outing starts in Los Lonely Boys’ home state of Texas and will include a homecoming show in San Angelo on May 5.

This tour brings together three of the most prominent Latino-American groups in the U.S. Though the groups come from different musical points of view – Ozomatli leans towards funk and hip-hop, Calexico perform rootsy indie rock, and Los Lonely Boys play Texican rock ‘n’ roll – the Brotherhood Tour will celebrate the collective heritage of Latino-Americans in music.

In February, Los Lonely Boys won a Grammy for best pop performance by a duo or group with vocal for their hit “Heaven.”

Other stops on the tour include Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, Ore., Seattle and Phoenix.

Los Lonely Boys also have their own spring tour dates as well as a number of shows with Santana this summer.
