CCE Adds Comedy Division

Clear Channel Entertainment Music Group has launched Punch Line Comedy Touring, a new division topped by veteran comedy promoter Geof Wills of Bill Graham Presents.

The announcement comes a scant two days after the announcement of the spinoff of Clear Channel Entertainment.

“Punch Line Comedy Touring will bring the biggest names in comedy to national and international audiences,” Wills said.

“Our goal is to produce high-profile, high-quality tours to better serve comedians and their fans. We will continue to cultivate club performers into theatre and arena acts.”

Wills is joined by talent buyer Bjorn Wentlandt, who will assist with tour production and acquisition.
