MLSE Lands Oshawa Complex

Toronto-based Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment has been tapped to manage the 5,400-seat Oshawa Sports and Entertainment Complex scheduled to open in 2006.

The company has also unveiled plans for the $350 million Maple Leaf Square, which will open next to the MLSE-managed Air Canada Centre in 2009.

The 1-million-square-foot entertainment destination will include a 2,000-seat live music club, boutique hotel, two condominium towers, two restaurants, retail complex and public square.
