Change At Centerplate

Lawrence Honig, chairman and CEO of sports/facilities services provider Centerplate Inc., was recently asked to resign by the company’s board, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The resignation was in relation to conduct unrelated to Centerplate.

David M. Williams has been named acting chairman, and Janet Steinmayer is acting CEO. Williams has been a director of Centerplate since 2003, and Steinmayer has been president since February.
