Jack and Meg, already on a tour of Latin America, will head to Eastern Europe and Russia in support of their newest album, the provocatively titled Get Behind Me Satan. In one-and-a-half months, The White Stripes will hit 12 different countries.

As the tour in Latin America finishes up, the month of June will begin with three dates in Brazil. The Stripes then return to the States for a set in Atlanta at the on June 10. A date on June 24 at the will follow before they head off to Russia.

Their first show in the land of the Tsars will be on June 26 in Moscow. The Stripes will move on to St. Petersburg, then through the countries of Estonia and Latvia at the end of the month.

The month of July begins with another show in the Russian city of Kaliningrad before the Stripes really start to zip through Eastern Europe. They play Prague on July 3, with dates in Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Serbia, and Greece in the following two weeks. The tour will wrap up on July 13 in Athens.

Get Behind Me Satan is due out on June 7 will be the 5th album from The White Stripes. It was recorded at Jack White’s studio in Detroit in just about three weeks – a pace at which Jack and Meg have adpoted for the last couple of albums.
