Bobby’s Buddies Get Stabbed

Two members of Bobby Brown’s entourage were hospitalized for stab wounds they sustained during a fight at an Atlanta restaurant owned by rap mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.

Police said Brown was at the club but wasn’t involved in the melee.

The former New Edition singer was at Justin’s Restaurant and Bar for a family birthday when four or five men allegedly got into a fight with Brown’s group. Kelsey Brown, 20, and Shayne Brown, 21, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of stab wounds. Both were said to be in stable condition, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Authorities don’t know what started the fight, and are searching for suspects.

“There was a lot of music and talking going on,” police detective D.L. Dixon said. “It could have been something as simple as a bump, you know, somebody bumped into each other.”

Attorney Vince Dimmock told the Journal-Constitution that Combs and his staff are cooperating with police in the investigation.

“Mr. Combs wants the public to know that this incident was totally unrelated to Justin’s Restaurant and Bad Boy Entertainment,” Dimmock said. “The restaurant maintains the highest level of security. Our first priority is and always will be our customers.”
