Percy Strother Dies

Minneapolis-based blues musician Percy Strother died May 29th, two months after being diagnosed with liver cancer.

Strother, 58, developed a following in local nightclubs in the 1970s.

The singer/guitarist gained widespread recognition with his 1992 debut album, A Good Woman Is Hard To Find.

He played his last show at Famous Dave’s BBQ & Blues in Minneapolis April 15th.
