Corporate And Mannequin Postpone Dates

Andrew McMahon, lead singer for Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, has postponed dates for both bands after being diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia. He is being treated in Los Angeles and doctors expect a full recovery, according to a press release.

Jack’s Mannequin had dates booked from June 6-13 throughout Georgia, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Kansas and Texas. All gigs are postponed until “further notice,” the release said.

Something Corporate was scheduled to perform at this year’s Vans Warped Tour for the first two weeks in August. At press time, the band’s Web site was still listing Warped dates through August 15.

Per McMahon’s request, Jack’s Mannequin’s debut album, Everything In Transit, will be released on Maverick Records in August.
