LoDo Festival Run Ends

Denver’s LoDo Music Festival will end a 13-year run following this summer’s two-day event.

Al Kraizer of Performance International, which has booked and organized the festival since day one, said competing entertainment, local development and the loss of its main sponsor, Cingular, led to pulling the plug on the annual street party, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

The Samples, Chuck Prophet, Brave Combo, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Sonny Landreth, The Radiators, John Brown’s Body, and B-Side Players are scheduled to perform June 17-18.
