Schankman Moves Into Management

Promoter Steve Schankman of Contemporary Productions has taken on another role — personal manager.

He will watch over the career of his longtime friend Maynard Ferguson.

“For 30 years, Maynard has been my idol and dear friend,” Schankman said. “This role adds a new dimension and level of commitment to our existing personal relationship.”
