Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Tour
Dubbed the Harajuku Lovers tour, Stefani will kicks things off October 16 and keeps going through November 10, just before an expected release of the follow-up to Love. Angel. Music. Baby.
The arena tour starts in Phoenix on October 16, then spends so time in California. Stefani will play in West Valley City, Utah, on October 25. From there, the tour heads east for shows in Colorado, Illinois, and Michigan, finishing out the month with a show at Boston’s Fleet Center on Halloween.
November starts with a concert at NYC’s Madison Square. After a show in Atlantic City, N.J., on November 3, the tour turns south for shows in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. The shebang wraps up in Houston on November 10.
All dates (with the exception of November 3) will include Black Eyed Peas, who released their latest album, Monkey Business, on June 7.
The tour itself is named after Gwen Stefani’s new clothing line, which is due to be unveiled this summer.Love. Angel. Music. Baby. has sold more than five million copies worldwide, while the single “Hollaback Girl” reached No. 1 the singles charts – proving there is life for Stefani outside of No Doubt.
Although she isn’t separated from her band – her next single, “Cool,” is reportedly loosely based on her past relationship to No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal.
Also expect to hear Stefani on her husband Gavin Rossdale’s upcoming solo album, for which she recorded some vocals. His disc is due out this fall.
