Atlanta Worldwide Touring CEO Jeff Sharp has “tentatively made a deal” with AEG Live to produce hip-hop and urban tours, the promoter told Pollstar.
Sharp’s recent productions include the R. Kelly/Jay-Z co-headliner and outings by Alicia Keys, Fantasia, KEM and Usher – the last of which was a joint venture with AEG. Sharp will continue to be based in Atlanta.
He said details are not finalized, but he expects that Atlanta Worldwide Touring “would continue to operate business as usual.” His first production for the company will be the “Scream IV” tour with Bow Wow and Omarion.
