Don Ho Postpones Shows

Don Ho was released from a hospital August 22nd and is being treated for an abnormal heart rhythm. It is uncertain if the Hawaiian crooner will reschedule concert dates.

“That is to be determined,” his manager, Lou Robin, told Pollstar.

Ho, 75, was set to perform at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel through the remainder of August. In September, the singer was scheduled to play on the mainland with dates in New Mexico, California and Oklahoma.

“Those will have to be either postponed or canceled because [doctors] won’t let him work just yet,” the manager said. “We’re just fortunate this week that he wasn’t on tour when it happened.”
