Ticketmaster CEO Resigns

Ticketmaster CEO John Pleasants resigned from his post August 23rd to “pursue a new endeavor” in September.

“Due to confidentiality provisions, I cannot name the future company until Labor Day,”

Pleasants e-mailed to his staffers. “I can say that it is an East Coast opportunity that gives me the chance to lead a start-up from the ground level in a big and transformative space.”

TM Chairman Terry Barnes assumed CEO responsibilities temporarily and said it was a pleasure to work with Pleasants for the last six years.
