Five Bids In For NTelos Contract

Five companies, including current venue manager Harbor Center Joint Venture and Clear Channel Entertainment, have submitted bids for management contracts at the NTELOS Pavilion @ Harbor Center in Portsmouth, Va., according to The Virginian-Pilot newspaper.

Other bidders include Iowa-based Compass Facility Management, Virginia Beach’s Integrated Management Group and Chesapeake’s Ma & Pa Productions.

Integrated Management Group is a new corporation founded by Mike Jones and Ken MacDonald, formerly of Cellar Door.

Presentations by all five companies are scheduled the week of September 19th. City officials told the paper they want to make a decision by October 10th and have a new contract in place by the first of the year.
