Lava Records Folded

Lava Records, home to artists including Kid Rock, O.A.R., and Vanessa Williams, has officially been folded into Atlantic Records.

Atlantic will keep Lava’s A&R and promotions staff but the other departments will be closed.

The move follows last month’s exit of Atlantic Records Group Chairman Jason Flom, who founded Lava.
