Clio Covers Up A Leak

The roof of Michigan’s Clio Amphitheatre may be covered with a tarp if city officials can’t muster up funds to repair it.

The 3,100-capacity shed closed in August due to financial difficulties and is now being run by the city, which owns it.

“If we can’t find the cash, we will more than likely cover the roof so there won’t be any more damage over the winter,” Tom Yost, Clio city administrator, told The Flint Journal.

He added that the venue’s roof needs to be replaced and the structure needs to be rebuilt.

Community organizations are using the amphitheatre for benefits, fund-raisers and free concerts.
